Dear Parent/Guardian,

RE: END OF YEAR 2014 – NEWSLETTER.
Receive our sincere greetings. We have come to a successful end of the year and have all reasons to thank God for his guidance and protection. Receive our sincere appreciation for your continued, support and prayers throughout the year. Your unwavering support and involvement in our school activities gave us a lot of boast. We deeply appreciate your presence during our academic/class meeting days in which the stakeholders in our accord agreed to work together towards value addition to our children.

It’s our conviction that the Christmas holiday will give you an opportunity to bond with your daughter and inculcate a sense of responsibility and self discipline.

IMPORTANT DATES
School opening day - Wednesday 7th January 2015 by 4.00 pm
Opener exams - Thursday 8th – Saturday 10th January 2015.
F1 Admission - Tuesday 17th February 2015.
Half term break - Thursday 26th Feb - Tuesday 3rd March 2015.
Scouts camp (Founders)- Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd February 2015.

FEES PAYMENT
We thank all parents who have ensured that their daughter’s fees have been paid promptly in full. Those with fees areas should clear in full to enable the school run its programmes well. Please note that the school encourages direct deposit of fees into our account and then avail the pay-in-slip with the students’ details to facilitate issuing of official receipts. Kindly use the following account numbers:

EXAMINATIONS
Our Form Four students completed their KCSE examination on Friday 7th November 2014. Please pray with us to realize our set target mean score.

Forms 1, 2 and 3 also sat for the end year examinations and have been issued with report forms. Please discuss your daughter’s performance with her. Form Ones have selected their subjects. Kindly guide them where necessary.
However, NOTE that the school retains the final word which is determined the by students performance. Every student should strive to achieve their best. Grade C and below is a pointer in the wrong directions.

ACADEMIC PROGRESS
All classes will sit for openers, midterm and end term exams. They will also sit for many other CATS and RATS. To facilitate the same all the Form 4s, 3s and 2s 2015 students are requested to bring the following:-
- 1 ream of photocopying paper each
- 1 ream of foolscaps each
- Kshs.300/= each to revision exams

LANGUAGES
ALL Form 3s and 4s (2015) students are required to come with the following set books on the reporting day.
ENGLISH
1. The River and the Source by Margaret Ogolla
2. Betrayal in the city by Francis Imbuga Approved school edition.
3. When the sun goes down and other stories from Africa and Beyond by Longman Kenya.
4. The Caucasian Chalk circle by Betrikt Bretch, Approved school edition

KISWAHILI
1. Damu Nyeusi na Hadithi nyingine na Ken Walibora
2. Mstahiki Meya na Timothy Arege 2009 Edition (vide muwa)
3. Kidagaa kimemuozea na Ken Walibora.

NOTE:
All Form 2s (2015) to bring the following
1. The river and the source by Margaret Ogolla
2. The Caucasian Chalk Circle (compulsory Book)

GAMES UNIFORM
Parents/Guardians should ensure that their daughter comes to school with white sport shoes, white T-skirt and a Navy blue divided skirt. This will be checked on the opening day.
We are happy to report that our choir went to the National levels in the Music Festivals.

UNIFORM
Kindly ensure that your daughter comes back in the right school uniform shoes i.e. low heeled black leather shoes laced up.

COMMUNICATION
For effect communication, parents/guardian and well wishers are requested to do the same through the office line indicated here below”

The students will use 0729-128896 to call their parents/guardians. Please do not accept calls from any other number as it will not be officials.

SCOUTS
The scouts will be attending a 3days camp in Embu as they commemorate the Founders day on 20th February 2015.

TRANSPORT
Transport will be provided from Nairobi. The bus will be there by 10.00 am on Wednesday 7th January 2015 and leave at 12.30pm. All students should report on this day otherwise those who will not do so MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
